Some of the buddies read us a story too. The buddies of the new 5 year olds walked
down to church with us for the powhiri.

  Welcome to Pukeko Class Blog 2013!

We are a new class of Year 1 and 2 children. It is the first year that Pukeko has had Year 1 and Year 2 together, so we are pretty special!
 Piwakawaka Class is exactly like us, with Year 1 and Year 2 children together. So they will be our buddies and we will do lots of our learning together.

Rubbish-free Lunches

         

Saint Paul's is a rubbish-free school. We have no rubbish bins outside and we want our environment to be clean and rubbish-free. So we all try very hard to have rubbish-free lunches. This is a photo of a Pukeko student's lunch box, with not a scrap of rubbish! Mrs Moriarty has a prize for 2 lucky students who she sees bringing rubbish-free lunches all week!
